The answer is NO, these are two separate licenses, esthetician is board of Cosmetology and Laser Technicians are licensed through Arizona Department Of health Services.
What is the difference between what esthetician do and what laser technicians do?
Laser technicians are certified skin and healthcare specialists who work in medical spas and clinical settings under the supervision of a medical director such as physician or Nurse practitioner.
Laser technicians perform medical treatments such as laser hair reduction, non surgical face lifts, age spot removal, skin disorders, laser tattoo removal and medical treatments.
